sound design It was great fun to work with James Nizam for his art installation “Celestial Telegraphies” at Reiter Gallery in Berlin. The challenge was to find a way to transform his photos of the night sky into sound. This sound was then transformed back into light and travelled through the exhibition room via laser. The laser was then transformed back into sound and sent to a loudspeaker.

Sound design I was happy to do audio restauration, foley and sound mixing for Ayse Polat’s great documentary film “The Others”. The film is set in Van, the historical home of the Armenians until 1915–the year of their deportation and murder. Nowadays, all that remains are the ruins of churches and a small number of inhabitants with Armenian roots, though most of them are scared to admit it.
