Sound design for “Sorori”
The work for Ulrike Ruf’s experimental music theatre piece “Sorori” was probably my most intense collaboration so far. Based solely on the diary entries and the multimedia estate of a young girl who committed suicide, the piece portrays her coming-of-age during the early post-reunification time in Berlin.

The dance theatre piece “je suis tombé sur tois” by choreographer Helge Letonja toured serveral European cities including Paris, Bremen, Prague and Brno. Throughout the piece my soundtrack shifts beween music and sound. The music seems to emerge from soundscapes and dissolves back into them.

In collaboration with X-Filme I arranged, recorded and produced the music for the trailer of “The White Ribbon” by Michael Haneke. The film won the “Palme d’Or” at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for two Oscars.
